COMPUTUS provides the full spectrum of professional accounting services within the standards and guidelines of SAIPA (South African Institute of Professional Accountants).  In short this involves the establishment of close corporations and trusts, the registration of entities for Income tax and VAT, the complete monthly financial record keeping of enterprises, the compiling of annual financial statements, the submission of tax and VAT returns, the verification of tax assessments, the complying of secretarial responsibilities of close corporations and companies towards CIPRO (Companies and Intellectual property Registration Office) and the execution of administrative responsibilities for trusts.

It is also the policy of COMPUTUS to supply timely and accurate information to its clients. Record keeping is done on a monthly basis while financial statements are delivered within four months of the financial year-end.

SAIPA is a professional body of more than 6 000 professional accountants (excluding students and associates) in practice, commerce and industry, government and academia. The majority of its members are in public practice, offering accountancy and allied services, excluding auditing, to the general public and the business community, especially in the SMME sector.

"Forensic and investigative accounting is the application of financial skills and an investigative mentality to unresolved issues, conducted within the context of the rules of evidence. As a discipline, it encompasses financial expertise, fraud knowledge, and a strong knowledge and understanding of business reality and the working of the legal system".
